Bingo Terms
After Game: A game being played after a regular session was played.
Auto Purchase: This is when the cards are being automatically purchased for the player at the start of a new game.
Automatic Dauber: This is the function that crosses/marks off your numbers when they match those being called by the computer. Dauber is the name of the traditional Bingo Marker.
Bingo Board: The display board that shows the number being called.
Bingo Card: A card with 25 squares and 24 numbers, the middle square is usually blank, that is automatically set by the computer in online Bingo.
Bingo Spotter: The one that checks that the "Bingo!" is a real one and then directs the winner on to the cashier.
Bingo Support: Most online Bingo Halls has a 24/7 support available for questions or comments.
Blackout: The pattern where all the squares must be covered. This is also called a Coverall.
Caller: The person calling out the drawn Bingo numbers.
Chat Room: A space online designated for the players to socialize through text messages and play games.
CL: Chat Leader
CM: Chat Monitor
Early Bird Game: This is a game that starts earlier than the scheduled earliest game.
Face: An individual bingo sheet with 24 numbers plus a free space in the middle.
Four Corner : The pattern where the four corners of the card must be filled for a "Bingo!"
Free Space: The square in the middle of the card which doesn't have any number and works like a Joker.
Game Board: A board that shows what specific pattern is needed to win the game.
Game Room: A room for a specific online game with one or several players.
House: The Casino or Bingo Hall is called the House.
Jackpot: A larger prize sum that usually takes a more difficult pattern to win.
Minimum Buy-in: The minimum amount you must deposit in order to be in for the prize money.
Moonlight Bingo: This is a session of Bingo that starts late at night.
Multiple Winners: When a Bingo game has several winners they will split the prize sum.
On: If a player has a card lacking only one number for a "Bingo!" the player is "on".
Pattern: The shape you need to win the game is called a pattern. This can be a line, filled in corners or a completely covered card.
Payout: The amount of sales in percent paid out by the House.
Progressive Game/Jackpot: A game with a jackpot that will grow and continue onwards till it is won.
Quickie: When the numbers are called rapidly and the card must be all covered to make a win.
Rng: A Random Number Generator is the computer that picks the numbers for the game.
Split Pot: When the winner split the sales of the game with the House.
Warm Up: A game played before the actual game starts. It can also be called an Early Bird game.
Wrap Up: This is what the last game of a session is called.
